My Watermark is Varney Pond around the Town of Durham, ON.
I have many memories about the Varney Pond where I grew up as a child. It was a short walk to get there and we spent a lot of time there in the summertime. It's a small conservation area that is fed by the local Styx River that runs right past it. We also played in the river and would hunt for crayfish and also fish in the river.
