Beach

Located just outside of Cedar Grove Wisconsin, Amsterdam Beach boasts wonderful views and sand dunes on the Western shore of Lake Michigan. Part of the larger Amsterdam Dunes Preservation Area, the beach and park were purchased by Sheboygan County in 2015 with the intent of continued preservation and public access to one or the longest stretches of undeveloped lakefront between Sheboygan and Chicago. The park has hiking trails, a small playground, picnic pavilion and porta-potty restrooms. Ample parking available at the end of Amsterdam Road, where it terminates into the parking lot for both the park and the beach. A small boat ramp is available to use with a permit.
