Garrett Bay Boat Launch

Located just outside of the Door Bluff Headlands County Park, the Garrett Bay boat launch offers incredible views of the Door Peninsula and Lake Michigan. The boat ramp, designated for use by non-motorized watercraft, allows easy access to some of the state's most scenic areas to kayak. The launch itself is along a stretch of rocky and scenic beach, perfect for picnicking or taking in a sunrise or sunset.

A $5.00 launch fee is required for each craft using the launch.

Paddling on Lake Michigan can be very hazardous. Rapidly changing weather conditions and cold water temperatures can pose serious risks to recreationists. Please ensure that you know the weather forecast and have the appropriate equipment for the conditions.

Private property is adjacent to the launch. Please be respectful and be sure to obey any posted regulations.
