Henes Park features a sandy swimming beach with lifeguards on duty, a brand new playground, picnic areas, and gorgeous views across the bay. A pretty pond behind the pavilion contains lily pads, fish, and frogs. The park is named for the German-American brewer John Henes, who created the park in 1907.
