Kentuck Lake is located within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Villas County. The park features curving sandy ridges, as well as marsh and forested areas. The name Kentuck came from the early settlers of the area who originally came from Kentucky. The area can get very busy during the summer since it is a popular spot for fishing.
