Killbear is a Natural Environment class park located a short drive from Parry Sound on Georgian Bay. With its long sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets, Killbear is an ideal place for swimmers. Kilcoursie Bay Beach is the first off of the main road, and the most sheltered beach within the park.
The Kilcoursie Bay beach is flanked by Day Use and Beaver Dams beaches and combined share a 2 km horseshoe shaped beach. The beach is in a semi-sheltered cover and has pristine clean water and a gentle slope ideal for families. There are parking lots at various points along the beach with direct access to the beach.
