L'Amable Lake Dam

L'Amable Lake Dam is a large lake located in the township of Faraday, Ontario and can be found just South of Bancroft. A public beach and boat launch are available just off of Old L’Amable Road. This is a great destination for families or people travelling solo who are looking for a great and safe place to swim, kayak, canoe, paddle board, or spend time along a lovely shoreline. L'Amable Lake has plenty of wildlife surrounding it and some fish, including small mouth bass and lake trout, making it a perfect fishing location. As well, there is a small island at the lake's centre which can be explored.

L'Amable Lake is currently monitored weekly by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health.
