Parc provincial Driftwood Provincial Park

(La version française suivra) Driftwood Provincial Park is located in the community of Rolphton in Renfrew County along the Ottawa River. This sheltered bay is the result of the Des Joachims hydroelectric dam construction in 1950, where you can now camp and swim along the sandy shore and hike to lookouts for panoramic views of the river. There are no lifeguards on the premises. Fees can be found at www.ontarioparks.com/fees.

Le parc provincial Driftwood se situe près de la communauté de Rolphton du comté de Renfrew le long de la rivière des Outaouais. Cette baie protégée est le résultat de l’inondation causée par l'ouverture du barrage hydroélectrique Des Joachims en 1950. Au parc provincial Driftwood, vous pouvez camper et nager près de la rive sablonneuse ainsi que marcher jusqu'aux points d'observation qui procurent une vue panoramique de la rivière.
