Peshtigo Harbor Boat Launch

South of Peshtigo at the end of Harbor road lies the Peshtigo Harbor and River boat launch. Located at the mouth of the Peshtigo River, the small boat launch site provides amazing access to both the river and Green Bay. A small yet rugged beach lies to the south and west of the ramp offering great views of the bay and ample opportunity for bird watching.

The real attraction of this landing is the ability to float the Peshtigo River from below the dam in town all the way to the harbor boat launch. Below the dam the river is shallow and sandy making it perfect for canoes, kayaks and john boats. A shuttle can be arranged from this point or from another boat launch located off of County Highway BB to the north. Either way, a float down the Peshtigo to the open waters of Green Bay is a real adventure.

Launch fees do apply to the boat ramps in town and further north. Please obey all posted advisories and regulations.
