Rock Island State Park Beach

Beach

Rock Island State Park is a unique park in Door County, Wisconsin. The park (and beach) are only accessible by ferry or boat and there are no cars or bikes allowed on the island. The sandy beach is located on the southeastern shore of the island on Lake Michigan. The beach is a great place for picnicking, walking, or swimming, but be aware that the water can be quite cool. After your swim be sure to check out Wisconsin's oldest lighthouse at the north end of the island!
