Sugar Creek

Beach

Sugar Creek Beach is located at the mouth of Sugar Creek on Lake Erie. Locals say that the creek's name comes from the mound at the mouth of the creek that looks like a sugar loaf and the fact that there were once many sugar orchards near the creek. There are two Sugar Creeks in Ohio. The other creek drains out to the Mississippi River.

This beach is sampled 4 times per week during the monitoring season.
