Sugar Creek County Park

Beach

Named for the creek that runs through this 40 acre gem, Sugar Creek park offers a beautiful place to enjoy a wooded park area and roughly a thousand feet of beach along The Green Bay. Additionally, the park features a disc golf course, picnic tables and grills, as well as parking for roughly 20 vehicles.

The park, acquired for public use in 1945 has long been a favorite for anglers as the area has historically been known for excellent Perch fishing. Those looking for an adventure on canoe or kayak can also access Sugar Creek and explore the waters upstream of the park.

The park is open from ½ hour before sunrise until 11pm

No camping or glass containers allowed in the park. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed and their waste disposed of properly.

Please observe all posted ordinances and be sure to check the local weather forecast before enjoying the park. Additional questions may be directed to the Door County Parks Department at 920-7469959.
