Named for the unique tunnel that passes through a dune, this 22-acre park is perfect spot for enjoying all that Lake Michigan’s shoreline has to offer. A popular place for the whole family, Tunnel Park Beach boasts numerous recreational amenities including picnic shelters, tables and grills, a children’s playground, beach volleyball courts, and a horseshoe pit. Modern restrooms and vending machines are also available on-site. Barrier free facilities include both picnic shelters, restrooms, playground, some picnic tables and grills and trails to key use areas including through the tunnel to a beach overlook deck. No lifeguards present. Parking available (fee).
