Travel back in time and immerse yourself in the lifestyle of pioneers from the 1800s. Black Creek Pioneer Village is a Conservation Area in Toronto, Ontario, composed of a historic community village. The buildings within the park are accessible and filled with exciting events year-round, with day camps, school trips, nightlife, and guided tours. Participate in demonstrations of rural life from two centuries ago, surrounded by period costumes, farmyard animals, and historic gardens. Visit the Black Creek Historic Brewery for a period pint and relax in the region’s green surroundings. Black Creek Pioneer Village also aims to achieve zero landfill refuse, much like the way of life in the 1800s!
