Located just 10 minutes north of the city of Toronto likes a beautiful 800 acre conservation area. Kortright Centre is considered to be one of the best spots in the region for hiking, cycling, and birdwatching, with over 16 km of well-maintained trails. Explore the many forests, meadows, and marshlands by the trails, boardwalk, and various lookout points. Visitors are also encouraged to participate in one of the many education programs and workshops offered here at the park! In fact, Kortright Centre offers some of the most impressive leading-edge sustainable education programs in the country — over 50 environmental education programs and 30 sustainable technology workshops. These programs are open to schools, professionals, and the general public. The conservation area is also a popular destination for weddings and other events and gatherings.
