Within the depths of the Canadian Shield, at the headwaters of Millhaven Creek, lies Gould Lake Conservation Area. These 1455 acres of wilderness are home to a variety of plant and animal species, including White-Tailed Deer, Red-Tailed Hawks, Minks, and Great Blue Herons. Fishing and boating are permitted within Gould Lake, and canoe, kayak, and paddleboats are available for rent. Visitors also enjoy hiking along the extensive 20 km trail system that connects to the Rideau Trail. In the wintertime, these trails are transformed into a fantastic, well-groomed cross-country skiing destination. Head out to Gould Lake Conservation Area for the perfect nature getaway!
