Heber Down Conservation Area is a massive 700 acre park with scenic vistas, hiking trails, and important wildlife habitats. The hiking trails are 5 km long, with gentle slopes and plenty of boardwalks, making the area accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. It is the perfect place to go cycling, jog, or walk the dog. Along the way, you will pass large wetland habitats that provide important feeding and breeding habitats for a wealth of species, including birds of prey and Back Bears! Heber Down is also a popular destination among anglers, who stop to fish in Lynde Creek and Devil’s Den Pond.
