Indian Falls Conservation Area

Park

Like a miniature Niagara Falls, the horseshoe-shaped Indian Falls stands 15 m high — a striking feature of this beautiful conservation area. The falls were created by the erosion of soft shale rock lying beneath hard dolomite rock, much like Niagara Falls. Indian Falls Conservation Area also has a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and a playground within its boundaries. Surrounding the falls you will find well-marked trails that run along the Indian River and leading up to the gorge. The trails here offer a stimulating challenge, with rocky terrain and steep paths. Along the way, you will find a staircases to make your hike a little bit easier and, of course, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the waterfall after your rigorous journey!
