For a fun and educational day trip, visit Meadowvale Conservation Area. This park is very close to the city of Mississauga, Ontario, and makes for a lovely weekend getaway! The park has idyllic picnic spots, with barbecues, open fields for games, and plenty of wildlife. Sit back and watch the birds of prey as they cast shadows over the surrounding forests, or stop to fish along the meandering Credit River. Hike along trails, with access to the Glassford Trail, and stop by the remnants of early pioneer settlement, including an old mill and farm house. You will inevitably want to return time and time again!

In the morning before I start my day and get to work I’m usually in the water south Mississauga at a small little beach called Water’s Edge where sometimes it’s just 10 minutes, sometimes it’s 30 minutes but it’s just my time, my quiet time to clear my mind, be active because I know it’s going to be a crazy day.
