Meadowvale Conservation Area

Park

For a fun and educational day trip, visit Meadowvale Conservation Area. This park is very close to the city of Mississauga, Ontario, and makes for a lovely weekend getaway! The park has idyllic picnic spots, with barbecues, open fields for games, and plenty of wildlife. Sit back and watch the birds of prey as they cast shadows over the surrounding forests, or stop to fish along the meandering Credit River. Hike along trails, with access to the Glassford Trail, and stop by the remnants of early pioneer settlement, including an old mill and farm house. You will inevitably want to return time and time again!
