Rockwood Conservation Area

Park

A visit to Rockwood Conservation Area might, in fact, look familiar to you. This fascinating site is a popular location for TV, movie, and photography shoots! The region is home to the ruins of the Harris & Co. Rockwood Woolen Mill. These ruins are available for you to explore or book for events and shoots. This conservation area also hosts caves and glacial potholes (giant holes created by shifting glacial ice sheets), surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Hike or cycle along the well-groomed trails that line the Eramosa River, or explore the conservation area by water in a paddleboat, kayak, or canoe. Camp at one of the many sites and you will find yourself surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and exciting opportunities for a fun-filled getaway!
