Springwater Conservation area is a well-loved park and campsite within Aylmer, Ontario. The site is home to an impressive 600 acre Carolinian forest, filled with quiet, well-maintained trails and a little boardwalk. Stop along the boardwalk to watch the minnows dart about in the small stream, or stop at one of the many benches along the way to soak in the scenery. The staff run activities throughout the year, including a maple syrup festival and many activities for kids in the summer months. The park is a popular destination for youth group campouts and families looking for a picturesque place to swim and spend some quality time in nature.

My most memorable experience is relaxing by my cottage on Lake Erie and biking the waterfront trail between Dunnville and Selkirk on a regular basis.
