Wawanosh Wetlands is a beautiful natural park located within the city of Sarnia, Ontario. Spanning over 100 acres, the park contains provincially significant wetlands, a memorial forest, and a spectacular picnic area. It is the perfect destination to hike, relax, and appreciate wildlife. Over 2.5 km of trails will guide you through this significant marshland that provides critical habitat for over 220 species of resident and migrating birds. In other words, Wawanosh Wetlands is a brilliant birdwatching spot! The park is also home to over 700 species of plants and a variety of fish, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals.
