Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower is a must-see in Southern Ontario. This popular day-trip spot is home to a fantastic 142m high tower, offering 360 degree views of the surrounding area.
The most popular time to visit the tower is autumn, and it’s easy to see why. As you stand high above the treetops, you are greeted to unmatched views of the forests and rivers of the Algonquin Highlands. The Lake of Bays wraps itself around the park, dotted with tiny islands and on cooler days mist will hang magically over the treetops.
The tower is closed in the winter months, so make sure you plan your trip for spring, summer, or autumn.
