My Watermark is Lake Simcoe, Ontario.

I love to spend time on my family’s yacht with my family and friends. Ever since I was a kid, we would go to Lake Simcoe every weekend of the summer. Either I am there with only a few of my close friends or with my family. It is great to go boating to relax and release any stress that may have built up from working in the city.

As well, I often go to a smaller lake above Lake Simcoe that is called Lake Couchiching. There is a small island there called Big Chief’s that we like to spend time at as well. Although I go up all the time, I remember one trip to Lake Simcoe with my friends that I realized that I really enjoyed being in the water and having this boat to be able to get out on the water. That time, my friends and I did a lot of water activities; we went on my sea doo, went water skiing, and out on tubes that are dragged by the boat that I have as well. Also, we drove out to a deeper part of the water to jump into the Lake. I was practicing my flips and tricks into the water, and my friends joined along too. Once it was getting late, we took our fun into the yacht and eventually went to bed with the waves rocking us back and forth.

I had a really great time being with my friends and being in the water with the boat especially. I realized that water and boating is a big part of my life since I have been going on these boating trips for as long as I can remember. Water is really a form of entertainment for me as well as something that is soothing and relaxing. These boating trips with my family are something that I continue to do because I just love being out on the lake so much, and I always look forward to these weekends in the summer.
