Cycle | Great Lakes Guide
  • Cycle

Cycling is great exercise and an excellent pollution-free mode of transportation. It is one of the best and most immersive ways to experience the Great Lakes region. There is nothing more freeing than the simple pleasures of bike riding, feeling the wind rush past your face. Cycling the region is fun for people of all ages and abilities, with trails ranging in difficulty from easy-going boardwalks to challenging mountain-biking courses. There are thousands of breathtaking trails, including the famous Waterfront Trail that extends over 2,100 km from Lake Superior all the way around the remaining Great Lakes to the St Lawrence River.

Do you like the summer/winter outdoors? Being at one with nature? Sounds of crickets, racoons, and breezy bustling trees? How about long-wooded cycling/walking/snowshoeing paths? Small secluded pockets of beach? Picking rocks?... stunning sunsets?
