Cycling is great exercise and an excellent pollution-free mode of transportation. It is one of the best and most immersive ways to experience the Great Lakes region. There is nothing more freeing than the simple pleasures of bike riding, feeling the wind rush past your face. Cycling the region is fun for people of all ages and abilities, with trails ranging in difficulty from easy-going boardwalks to challenging mountain-biking courses. There are thousands of breathtaking trails, including the famous Waterfront Trail that extends over 2,100 km from Lake Superior all the way around the remaining Great Lakes to the St Lawrence River.

We do a lot of the lake shore trails because it’s a very pretty route and we’re seeing the water, we’re riding and the temperature is always slightly better on a really hot day when you’re cycling along the Waterfront Trail, that would probably be one of my favourites.
