Bay Furnace Recreation Area Beach

Beach

Bay Furnace Recreation Area Beach is a fantastic place for rustic camping. Be sure to check out the old furnace, a huge stone structure once used to make iron. In 1877, the town was destroyed by fire but the furnace still remains. There is a casino and excellent restaurants nearby. The area has gone by the name "Christmas" since the late 1930s.
