Beach 1 | Great Lakes Guide

Check for signs posted at the beach before swimming at Presque Isle State Park. The most popular beach in the park’s 11-mile stretch of sand beaches. This beach is the closest to the park’s entrance. Also near the park entrance is the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, a great chance to learn about the fascinating 3200 acre park. This beach is supervised by lifeguards, has ample parking to accommodate it’s popularity and a bath house. Every summer, Beach 1 has free outdoor concerts each Wednesday evening.
