Check for signs posted at the beach before swimming at Presque Isle State Park. Pettinato Beach has a concession stand, bathhouse, and wooded picnic areas. This beach is home to the sandcastle competition during the annual Discover Presque Isle. Try making a sandcastle for yourself at Pettinato. The wide, sandy beach has lifeguards. Parking is not a concern as there is plenty at the beach.
