Bonnechere Provincial Park

Beach

Bonnechere Provincial Park is located on shores of Round Lake in the Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards Township of Renfrew County. The beautiful sandy beach is in the day use area near the Visitor Centre and Park Store. The beach is marked with buoys and has shallow gradual drop-offs. The meandering Bonnechere River once carried furs and pine logs out of this Ottawa Valley region. Now, canoes move along its leisurely, ever-changing path to Round Lake, where there is a small sandy beach with a buoyed area ideal for family swimming. If you wish to stay overnight, campsites are available. Flush toilets, showers, a visitor centre, laundry facilities, boat launch, playground, a park store are all offered. You can also hike, fish and paddle in the area.
Please note: there are no lifeguards posted at the beach and pets are not permitted in the swimming area. There are beach accessibility mats.
