Centennial Park is located southwest of Sudbury on Regional Road 55 by Whitefish. Located on Vermillion River, this park provides a great beach area which is unsupervised, but safe for swimming. Vermillion River is a freshwater river which is part of the Lake Huron drainage basin and connects to McCharles Lake. Centennial Park provides many amenities and services for all types of activities and individuals. At this park there is a picnic area, waterfall, camping area, playground, boat launch and ball field. The campsites which are located on the Vermillion River provide hydro, water, showers and toilets.
