The Elora Quarry is better known as the"old swimming hole," a former limestone quarry." It was a popular swimming spot long before it became a day-use conservation area in 1976.
Elora Quarry offers a large beach area, unmonitored swimming, tree-covered picnic space and a 1km hiking trail.
The 10 m high cliffs around the quarry are stunning.
There are 2 washroom facilities and a small change room available.*There is a capacity limit, and tickets must be purchased online prior to arrival.
