The Elora Quarry Conservation area is a 2 acre limestone quarry surrounded by dense forests. This beautiful and popular gem is an ideal destination for a picnic and lazy afternoon at the beach. The rugged landscape contains a 1 km trail that loops around the upper stones of the quarry. The bright blue swimming hole is sheltered by cliffs that reach up to 12 m in height! You won’t want to miss a trip to Elora Quarry this summer.

As the sun set, my group would head down to the campfire. At the water's edge sat three rows of benches underneath a large old tree. We would whisk the sun away by singing fun peppy camp songs and participating in funny skits.
