The Elora Quarry Conservation area is a 2 acre limestone quarry surrounded by dense forests. This beautiful and popular gem is an ideal destination for a picnic and lazy afternoon at the beach. The rugged landscape contains a 1 km trail that loops around the upper stones of the quarry. The bright blue swimming hole is sheltered by cliffs that reach up to 12 m in height! You won’t want to miss a trip to Elora Quarry this summer.

I live on the flood plane in Port Bruce. It was ice jammed at the mouth of the river (Catfish Creek) during Spring thaw.
