Forbes Park

A beautiful sandy and rocky beach, Forbes Community Park Beach is located in Hilton Beach, ON, a small, vibrant village on the Northeast shore of St. Joseph Island.

In this area, there are many restaurants, ice cream stops and shops to explore. A 1.5 km long boardwalk that runs along the waterfront of Hilton Beach begins at Forbes Park and ends at the Marina boat launch. Along the way, you'll find scenic views, picnic table areas, and the shade of weeping willow trees. Forbes Park has change rooms and public restrooms, playground equipment, room for parking, several colourful benches, and is dog friendly. Hilton Beach is a popular tourist destination, with the Hilton Beach Marina being one of the largest in the North Channel and one of the most scenic on the Great Lakes. Hundreds of boaters and tourists visit this area every summer.
