Herbster

Beach

One of the many excellent beaches located along Wisconsin’s Lake Superior shoreline, the Herbster Town Beach is long and sandy. At just over a mile long, and featuring the only lakeside tent camping in the area. Beautiful views, and the length of this beach make for a worthy stopover.

The beach and campground has showers and restrooms as well as picnic tables. Reservations for camping should be made in advance as the sites fill up quickly during the summer.

Dogs are allowed in the campground and on the beach but must be leashed and their waste must be picked up. No lifeguards are on duty at the beach so swimming is at your own risk.

Please observe all posted regulations during your visit. Prior to enjoying your day at the beach or on the water, please check the local weather forecast and be attentive to changing conditions. Questions can be directed to the town of Clover (Herbster) at 715-774-3780 or the campground host at 745-774-3790.
