Kalmo Beach | Great Lakes Guide

Follow Sandy Beach Road to find Kalmo Beach in Val Caron. Kalmo is a swimming and boating beach surrounded by trees, paths and parkland. Kalmo Beach provides lifeguards between 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from June 23 to August 19. Kalmo Beach is located on the freshwater of Whitson Lake. Near this beach is Kalmo Park Conservation Area which offers a boat launch and campground. There are some amenities available at Kalmo Beach such as changeroom and washroom facilities, but there is currently no snack bar thus people are advised to bring enough food and water for the day. Parking is free.
