Lake on the Mountain

Beach

Sitting 60 metres above Lake Ontario, Lake on the Mountain is a mystery. Its water comes from an invisible source and drains to Lake Ontario down below. This is a stunning park with views of both lakes. You can take a plunge in the lake here, but if you're looking for a place to spend the day at the beach, the County offers better sandy beaches. The views from here are priceless.
