Memorial Washburn

Beach

Located on the northeast end of Washburn, the city’s Memorial Park offers a great campground as well as shoreline access to the Chequamegon Bay. Although there is no designated sandy beach, Memorial Park has easy shoreline access for those hoping to take a quick swim, do some fishing, or enjoy the beautiful views of the lake.

The campground, more suited to tents and small campers offers large shade trees, showers and restrooms. The city does not take reservations for camping, so all sites are first come, first served.

Dogs are allowed at the park and in the campground provided they are leashed. Please pick up after your pet.

Please be sure to read and observe all posted regulations. Prior to enjoying your day at the beach or on the water, please check the local weather forecast and be
attentive to changing conditions. Additional questions can be directed to the City of Washburn at 715-373-6160.
