Northumberland - Victoria Beach (Cobourg Beach)

Beach

Victoria Beach is a slice of paradise on Lake Ontario - with clean sandy shores, a boardwalk, inviting water for swimming, and beach canteen. Located next to Victoria Park, the area offers excellent facilities, including a playground, splash pad, picnic tables and information booth. Lifeguard and first aid equipment are also at the beach for the safety of beachgoers. Throughout the summer, the area is bustling with visitors as people come together to enjoy outdoor movies, theatre performances and concerts at the park's pavilion. Within a short walk of the beach, is Cobourg's heritage downtown. There you will find a plethora of small shops and restaurants wrapped in Cobourg's small-town charm. The town of Cobourg also encourages environmentally-friendly travel with its cycling path leading up to beachside bike racks. Don't miss this gem of a beach!
