Ball’s Mill Conservation Area is a unique 38 acre park located just north of Cobourg, Ontario. Home to woodland trails that wind their way through forests, around ponds and streams, this region is an ideal destination for hiking, fishing, and simply relaxing in nature. The property consisted of a mill, owned by the Ball family until the early 1970s, and remains an important landmark for the region’s economy. It has since been designated as a historic site by the Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committees. A hike along the park’s scenic trail will lead you to a dam at the Mill pond. This park is closed in the winter, so make sure you visit before the snow falls!
