Zoo Beach is located in the city of Racine and is adjacent to the Racine Zoo. It is north of Racine’s North Beach. The views from this beach are the same from North Beach, but offer a quieter atmosphere. It is accessible by the Lake Michigan Pathway, as well as by a staircase from street level. There are no restrooms, play equipment, or concessions at this beach. There is no lifeguard on duty at this beach, so please swim at your own risk. It is a perfect place to read and relax. Pets are not allowed on the beach, but leashed pets are allowed on the nearby bike path. The beach is open from 6am to 10pm.
