Beaver Meadow Wildlife Management Area is a large wetland site within Picton, Ontario, spanning 220 acres. This park is home to a Ducks Unlimited dam, deciduous forests, wetlands, and a wide variety of animals. The dense forests are composed of White Birch, Butternut, Black Walnut, Shagbark Hickory, American Beech, and Maple trees. Ontario’s flower, the trillium, also flourishes in the area, alongside many other wildflowers. Take a stroll through this peaceful park and watch as marsh critters and songbirds dart through the beautiful greenery. Keep your eyes peeled for turtles and great blue herons as you explore Beaver Meadow!
