Have you ever wanted to rent your own private island? Depot Lakes Conservation Area is the place for you! Home to a series of lakes and a wide variety of wildlife, this massive 3,000 acre park is a true wilderness getaway. Depot Lakes Conservation Area is located just north of the small village of Verona, Ontario, and is the only Conservation Area in the region to offer camping. Twenty interior campsites dot the shoreline and are “boat-in” only. Don't have your own boat? Canoes can be rented within the park. Many guests enjoy the region so much, that they bring trailers and camp here for the entire summer! Whether you come for a day trip or a multi-day adventure, Depot Lakes is an ideal place to relax in nature. Have a picnic and explore the many trails; you might even spot a moose, a porcupine, or a black bear!

The sky was blue, the water was really quite calm, not a lot of wind and no fog and it was like we sailed out of a curtain
