Ganaraska Forest Centre

Park

Ganaraska Forest Centre is a unique conservation area located in the heart of the massive 11,000 acre Ganaraska forest. The region is home to the Oak Ridges Moraine and one of the largest sections of forested land in Southern Ontario. It was also the first Canadian watershed ever to be studied! Home to the Ganaraska Forest Outdoor Education Centre, the park is a great destination for outdoor education and events. There are also plenty of recreational opportunities for you to enjoy, including camping, hiking, cycling, and snowshoeing in the winter. The park also provides all-terrain wheelchairs so that everyone can explore the great Canadian wilderness.
