Located within the municipality of Port Hope, Ontario, is the beautiful Garden Hill Conservation Area. This 53 acre park is home to the headwaters of the Ganaraska River and a lovely spring fed pond. Hike through Ontario’s largest forests (the 11,000 acre Ganaraska Forest) and explore the diverse wildlife that live in the region. The park also hosts a Learn to Fish Day, where the whole family can learn how to rig, paid, and cast a line out and discover local fish species and sustainable and safe fishing practices!
