Marshlands Conservation Area is beautiful natural park in Kingston, Ontario. It combines the beauty of rushing rivers, deep lakes, open prairies, and dense forests. An ideal place to hike or cycle, it is well worth packing a backpack and spending the day exploring! The park hosts well-maintained trails, suitable for a variety of skill levels. When the snow starts to fall, strap on a pair of cross-country skis to explore the trails. Skating and tobogganing are also popular activities among park visitors. For wildlife enthusiasts, Marshlands is a fantastic birdwatching destination. Bring seeds to feed the friendly chickadees. Keep your eyes peeled for Dark Eyed Juncos, bright red Epaulets, and Redwing Blackbirds!

Going to high school in Kingston, it was really enjoyable to be able to escape the heat and studies and jump into the water at Breakwater Park, de-stress and spend time outdoors with friends and family.
