Selwyn Beach is a well-loved, 72 acre park situated along the shoreline of Chemong Lake, just 20 minutes outside of Peterborough. This park offers hiking, swimming, fishing, and a boat launch with docking facilities. Enjoy a barbecue and picnic, fishing in the lake, and excellent swimming at the gentle, sandy beach. A group campsite is available and popular with scouting and guiding groups. Hike or take a leisurely stroll along the 6 km of trails. The park also has a diverse array of plants and wildlife. Whatever you’re looking for, Selwyn Beach has it in spades!

I love visiting the Scarborough bluffs and feeling connected to it. I work in sanitary and stormwater design and know how important this lake and all its tributaries are to the city of Toronto's everyday function (as well as all other cities relying on it).
