Sulphur Spring Conservation Area is a beautiful park located in Hanover, Ontario. With a vast 215 acre hardwood forest, Sulphur Spring is the perfect destination to stop for a picnic lunch and appreciate wildlife. The park has 5 km of trails, each that wind through a different habitat. The Sulphur Spring Trail will bring you past a natural cold-water spring. This spring is constantly replenished with groundwater, feeding the park with enough water to fill 29 bathtubs every minute! Many resident birds can be found within the park, with hundreds of duck and geese making themselves at home in the small waterbodies. The park is also home to an exptic bird pen and a Pheasant barn, home to a variety of Peafowl species.You just never know what you’re going to find!
