Also known as Balsam Lake Road Beach, Blanchard's Road Beach is a grassy, sandy beach on the shore of Lake Balsam. Situated in the Kawartha Lakes region, the lake it is connected on one side by the Trent Canal to Michell Lake, and across the lake, water flows down the Trent-Severn Water Way into Cameron Lake. Balsam Lake is known for being the highest elevation, ocean-navigable body of water in the world. The beach is located at the intersection of Balsam Lake Drive and Blanchard's road. There are bathroom facilities on-site.
