Canoe Club Beach is located within Bell Park which offers many summer festivals, concerts, and activities . Bell Park is named after William J. Bell who was a former lumber baron and his family donated the park to the City in 1926. This sandy beach is unsupervised but boasts almost 150 feet of shoreline. The Sudbury Canoe Club is located near Canoe Club Beach (hence this beaches name) and offers free parking as well as many recreational activities such as kayaking, canoeing, paddling, windsurfing, and dragon boating.
