(La version française suivra) In small town Lyndhurst, right by the beautiful old bridge is a very attractive dock used for canoe/kayak and very small boat launches. Their are swimming ladders and old brick homes that beautifully surround the little zen swimming spot. There is no sand, no beach but locals have told me that this is a popular swimming spot for the kids of the area. The water isen't very deep and no lifeguards are on the sites. The picture above doesn't do it justice. This peaceful, quaint location isn't being tested for water quality by the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit and has overgrown vegetation on the shoreline and algae in the lake.

We got to paddle around in that and I had been to Ontario lakes before but this was something else, this was like I said, pristine and remote and everything that I thought Canada and Ontario should be.
